The Superior Sentry® 4250 Closed Circuit Horizontal Shaft Impactor (HSI) Plant delivers unmatched performance in portable crushing and screening. Designed for maximum efficiency and mobility, this fully integrated closed circuit system turns raw material into valuable, high-quality products—all from a single, compact plant.
Precision Engineering for Powerful Crushing
At the heart of the plant is the Superior 4250 Horizontal Shaft Impactor, built to process recycled concrete, reclaimed asphalt, and natural aggregates into consistent, cubical end products. Its cast high-inertia rotor and hydraulic closed-side setting (CSS) adjustment ensure precise control and reduced wear, while the hydraulic lid simplifies maintenance for faster uptime.
A 48” x 18” Intrepid® Vibrating Grizzly Feeder (VGF) efficiently removes fines and directs material into the impactor. Interchangeable grizzly cassettes—bars, finger tines, or punch plates—make it easy to adapt to multiple applications. This versatility allows operators to tailor material flow and improve throughput efficiency.
Integrated Screening and Recirculation System
Post-crushing material moves through a 2-deck Anthem® Inclined Screen, capable of sorting up to three material sizes simultaneously. Oversized material is automatically fed back to the impactor via a patent-pending recirculating conveyor, which centralizes material feed for full rotor utilization and extended blow bar life.
Each cross conveyor in the system is universally interchangeable, reducing operational costs by allowing owners to swap conveyors between positions as needed. Hydraulic run-on leveling legs make setup and transport fast and simple, minimizing downtime between sites.
