Product Details
Superiors Helix® Cyclones come in two models, one is for fines recovered and is manufactured of 100% cast urethane being used typically to achieve a 400 mesh cut. The second model is for sand production applications and is manufactured of steel shell and lined internally with urethane and typically achieved 170 mesh. Material with a slurry consistency is pressurized and then fed near the top of the cone-shaped cyclone. The coarser, heavier product is pushed to the outside while finer particles collect in the center where a constant siphoning effect is taking place. This process allows for the finer waste product to be pulled through the overflow pipe, the salable product discharged through the apex at the bottom.
