An innovative alternative to traditional wing pulleys is Superior’s Chevron ® Pulley, becoming the preferred wing pulley design quickly since 2007. A traditional wing pulley impact of rocks is directly perpendicular to wings allowing the material to entrap between wings causing it to bend easily.
The Chevron ® Pulley ‘s unique V-shape design deflects materials and resists bending, allowing for constant contact between the pulley and the belt, reducing the noise and vibration. The Chevron ® Pulley is available in the CEMA, Mine, and Super Duty classes and can be converted easily to abrasion-resistant steel for improved wear life.
